Pure Seaweed (150g)
Description
Pure Seaweed (Kelp).
Kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum) contains generous levels of vitamins including A, B1, C, D and E. It is also rich in minerals calcium, potassium, zinc, iodine, magnesium, iron and copper as well as amino acids and trace elements.
It contains high levels of calcium to help promote healthy skin, strong bones and teeth in dogs. Seaweed can also help strengthen depth of coat colour and support strong nervous system and healthy digestion.
We always advise that if you have not used seaweed for your animals before you introduce it gradually building up to the full recommended amount over a period of several days as it has a strong flavour.
Give seaweed to dogs only in very small, measured amounts, as it is high in iodine. Too much can affect thyroid health, so a tiny pinch a few times a week is safest.
